Worship Gatherings

We gather weekly to worship together via conference call. Our worship gatherings are at 12:30 pm ET. Join us by calling (480)660-5315; code 824522.

We have noticed that the ways we do many things have shifted since the coronavirus pandemic, and our routines as a church family are among those changes. At some point in the future, we may resume weekly in-person gatherings. For now, we gather weekly via conference call for worship, prayer, and lectio divina (sacred reading). We gather in person every six to eight weeks to share a meal, fellowship, and new insights in our spiritual lives.

Shared Values

We believe Jesus is the source of salvation; therefore,
We will strive to live a Christ-centered life.
We will love, befriend and meet people where they are.

We believe in the Holy Trinity; therefore,
We will teach God the Father above us, God the Son beside
us, and God the Holy Spirit within us.

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God; therefore,
We will study and read scripture.
We will not elevate the Bible to the level of the Holy Trinity.

We believe Jesus is the model for living and for
building community;
therefore,
We will make ourselves available to God’s leading
through the Holy Spirit.
We will recognize that God’s will is greater than our own.
We will pray.
We will experience the peace of living in communion with God.
We will love individuals and recognize that we are all sinners.
We will respect one another.
We will expect and experience miracles.
We will always be clear about who we are and our purpose.

We believe in the priesthood of believers; therefore,
We will not put any person between God and the individual.
We will respect people’s rights to have access to God.
We will encourage one another’s call from God.
We will equip everyone for service.
We believe in the freedom of the local church under the authority of Jesus Christ to shape its own life and mission, call its own leadership, and ordain whom it perceives as gifted for ministry,
male or female.

Missions

It is our passion to offer love to the community and world through day-to-day ministry as well as mission projects. We offer hands-on activities, collections of supplies and offerings for special projects locally and internationally.

Our mission projects have included:

Refugee support: We collect household items for recent immigrants to the U.S., and we provide support and encouragement.

Gleaning Projects:   We regularly participate in various gleaning projects around our area.  We help glean various vegetables from local farms to be given to people who can use the help. Produce gleaned has included sweet potatoes, collards and squash. We partner with the Society of St. Andrew.

Tri-Area Ministries:
Upon request, we collect food for our local food bank.

CROP Walk: Each year we join our community CROP Walk to raise funds to alleviate hunger in our community and in our world.

Mission Trips: We help with people’s homes and other needs.

Collections: We have collected clothing for boys at Cameron Boys Camp, money to purchase Bibles in Nicaragua, helped build a driveway for a school in Haiti, collected clothing for orphans, basic needs for people after a local tornado, diapers and wipes for the Diaper Train of Raleigh, and make Christmas boxes for local children.
